Description:
The Be Plain Clean Ocean Non-Nano Mild Sunscreen is a sunscreen with a nano-free formula that is gentle on your skin while still providing physical protection through zinc oxide. A mineral sunscreen sits on top of your skin to physically block the UV rays. This sunscreen is also a water-resistant sunscreen that creates a weightless shield over your skin to physically bounce radiation off the skin without leaving a white cast. It is filled with active ingredients derived from Irish sea moss, rich in vitamins and minerals, that help improve skin elasticity and provide hydration to the skin. Centella and Chamomile extracts provide soothing effects and antioxidants to the skin.

Liked this sunscreen a lot, it dries down matte and didn’t sensitized my skin in any way. It does leave a white cast and i’m quite pale myself so I don’t know how this would look on poc.
Love this mineral sunscreen, doesn't break me out but more likely calms my skin down.
It does however leave a light whitecast, but that disappears after about 5-10 minutes on the skin.
very little white cast, it doesnt bother me as I am quite pale as well. Love that its compostable and eco-friendly, has really nice ingredients and calms my skin nicely so it feels more like a step in my skincare rather than just a sunscreen
Goed voor onder je make up, en witte waas valt reuze mee - tot nauwelijks
It's a very mild sunscreen for those with sensitive skin. The white cast is minimal, and the formula is quite rich, so maybe oily skin types can have some trouble working with it.
Still hunting for my HG mineral sunscreen and was excited to try this one based on the description and reviews. Like most zinc sunscreens it does leave a white cast but not the worst I've experienced. The problem is that even after letting it set it always felt slightly tacky on my skin and despite being listed as water soluble, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to wash off. Anytime I've tried to wear this I've had to scrub my face with micellar water and cleanser like 5 times to remove it and it still doesn't feel like I got it all and end up breaking out after wearing it. For the price I found this really disappointing.
Only sunscreen I've tried that doesn't irritate my skin
I looked pretty hard for a non-nano mainly zinc oxide sunscreen that had also been tested to show results, so I rlly wanted to try this product.
It does leave an unnatural white-cast, which is 100% to be expected with non-nano zinc. But to my surprise I actually do mind it more than I thought I would given how it kind of intervenes with a perfect makeup look and ghastly without makeup. (It does NOT a absorb or go away, pretty thick as expected.)
For reference I’m neutral N20 in mac.
Despite doing a perfect skincare underneath, this sunscreen is oily yet a bit patchy on the skin. So it doesn’t sit well. I didn’t experience any piling, just the patchy area’s kind of seperating. Nothing too extreme though.
So far no breakouts either, but I’ll need to test it more. I think it’s also fine to use around the eye area, my eyes are super sensitive and it was fine.
I’ll still keep on using this sunscreen, I think it just takes time getting normalized with it.
I like it. It seems very thick but it absorbs very quickly. The white cast also disappear after a few minutes
I have combination to oily skin with enlarged pores and it's also super sensitive. I can assure you that this is the best mineral sunscreen which I've tried so far <3 It does leave a white cast but after 10 minutes it disappears completely. It works good under makeup. I've already restocked it ;)
